"A nice surprise when winning first time out for us. We liked him as a yearling and when he came around at the horses in training sales last October we bought him. I put him in the Wokingham but I don't think he'll get in unless he wins between now and then. He's got a good deal of ability and, although he won over 6f at Pontefract, there's a chance he might get 7f. 27-05-26"

"Unfortunately he picked up an injury so he's going to be off for the first half of the season, but we're thinking he'll be back and it's not career-ending. He's sound but he's going to need time to get over what happened. We'd like to win an Ayr Gold Cup, so we'll target that and possibly the Portland. That's a fickle double, it's usually one or the other. He's a grand horse. Technically at his age he's supposed to be diminishing but he doesn't seem to be. The man who feeds him rides him and he's managed very well. He's a Hamilton specialist. It's probably going to be a bit more difficult for him now, but he's thereabouts in those top sprints. 07-05-25"

"A 7f specialist who won twice at Newbury last year, in July and August. He came from Jack Channon's in March last year and quickly settled in at Mowbray because he won at Wolverhampton after only a month here. He might go back to Newbury on Saturday. 09-04-25"

"He's a likeable sort of horse and is very straightforward. Formerly with Jack Channon, he ran well first time out for us at Newcastle and then won over 7f at Wolverhampton two weeks ago. There might be more to come from him and he's quite exciting. His form has been on the all-weather but he hasn't had many opportunities on turf. While the weather stays wet we'll probably stick on the all-weather for a bit but then go on the grass when we get a bit of decent ground. 17-04-24"
