Trainer Quotes
May 2023
"I know this fellow's family so well having trained his dam Sweet Selection to win the Group 3 Sagaro Stakes and Cesarewitch, and she was such a joy to have anything to do with. Clever Relation never ran last year and only made his debut at Windsor last month but he certainly made a good first impression when winning over 1m2f. He had a few issues last year, hence why he never ran, but I think he is all right and if we can keep him in one piece then we should have a lot of fun. He has the makings of a nice handicapper and at the moment things are going well. He is obviously bred to stay and if he does get 2m then he could be all right. Although he won on soft at Windsor he would appreciate better ground. I like him. 17-05-23"

How do odds work? The first number is what you win, the second is what you bet. So 5/2 means you win £5 for every £2. 4/1 means you win £4 for every £1. The bigger the first number, the less likely bookmakers think the horse will win — but the more you'd win if it does.
