"Unfortunately he picked up an injury so he's going to be off for the first half of the season, but we're thinking he'll be back and it's not career-ending. He's sound but he's going to need time to get over what happened. We'd like to win an Ayr Gold Cup, so we'll target that and possibly the Portland. That's a fickle double, it's usually one or the other. He's a grand horse. Technically at his age he's supposed to be diminishing but he doesn't seem to be. The man who feeds him rides him and he's managed very well. He's a Hamilton specialist. It's probably going to be a bit more difficult for him now, but he's thereabouts in those top sprints. 07-05-25"

"He had time off as a three-year-old, we couldn't train him, but he came back really well last season. He wants five furlongs with some cut. He was entered at Newmarket, but the ground was advertised as fast so I didn't declare him, although it actually would have been all right. 23-04-24"
