TrackLab Insight
Top-rated on paper but fragile form tells a different story—just one win from 14 races and back in the saddle after only three days' rest at Newmarket. Loves this ground (17% win rate on good surfaces) and has her best record at this distance, but poor history on left-handed tracks like Brighton is a real concern here.

TrackLab Insight
The market favourite is on a two-timer after wins at Chepstow 15 and 31 days ago, and he's the standout on this ground—33% win rate on good-to-firm compared to rivals. However, his low draw (1) faces headwinds from the draw bias here, and he's never won at this distance despite a strong 16% career win rate.

Just broke through at Salisbury 30 days ago after 16 races without a win, and was only beaten a nose here 19 days ago—she clearly runs well at Brighton. Lowest-rated runner facing better horses, but on dry ground she manages 20% win rate and this distance suits her perfectly at 25% win rate over a mile-plus.

TrackLab Insight
Brighton course winner with a recent victory at Epsom 25 days ago and excellent form on dry ground (31% win rate). The only real advantage here is his familiarity with the track, but his win-rate remains just 15% overall and he's won nothing on standard ground.

Trainer Quotes
Apr 2025
"We bought him at the sales in November for a syndicate who wanted a horse to have fun with. He tends to be over-exuberant in his races and we put a hood on him first time out. I'd love to be telling you that he's relaxed, but he jumps the stalls so fast that he's very much there to be got at if he doesn't quite finish his race. He should be fun for the syndicate and hopefully he'll be winning at his level. His second last time at Nottingham was quite a good run - the winner was well handicapped - and he went back there on Tuesday and ran well again. 30-04-25"

TrackLab Insight
The real Brighton specialist with three wins from six races at this course—50% win rate—and two wins here in the last two months suggest he knows this place intimately. On good-to-firm ground he wins roughly 1 in 3 races, making him the most dangerous horse in the field for this specific race.

TrackLab Insight
Three straight top-three finishes show he's in form, including a close second at Brighton just 48 days ago on this same course. Wins roughly 1 in 8 races and thrives on standard ground, but today's dry surface is less ideal, and he struggles on Brighton's left-handed undulating layout.

TrackLab Insight
Lowest-rated and heaviest-burdened in the field—16 pounds below the field average—with just three wins from 42 races (7% win rate) and poor recent form at Yarmouth. He's never won on standard ground and struggles on galloping tracks, making this a tough ask despite being able to carry less weight than his rivals.

TrackLab Insight
Form has collapsed—16th place at Leopardstown 18 days ago is damaging—and there's minimal data from recent British runs to suggest she can compete here. She's never won on good-to-firm ground and her best record comes at shorter distances, making this trip and these conditions problematic.

How do odds work? The first number is what you win, the second is what you bet. So 5/2 means you win £5 for every £2. 4/1 means you win £4 for every £1. The bigger the first number, the less likely bookmakers think the horse will win — but the more you'd win if it does.
