The partnership with trainer John C McConnell is the engine behind much of that success. It suggests Harvey is at their sharpest when the surface plays fair, and it is the kind of statistic that a trainer worth their salt will have noticed.

Then there is Tramore. Four winners from just 9 rides at the course works out at nearly 1 in every 2, which is the sort of return that turns heads. Not every jockey has a track where things just click, but Harvey clearly does at Tramore — whether that is course knowledge, confidence, or a combination of both, the results speak plainly. Sixty-three career winners in four seasons, a Class 1 scalp already on the board, and a win rate that is still climbing: Harvey is a jockey building something real.
