Those two Class 2 wins both came at Ascot, and they came within four weeks of each other in the late summer of 2022. Back-to-back wins at one of Britain's most prestigious tracks is the kind of thing that gets a horse noticed, and Lethal Nymph's record there — 2 wins from just 4 visits — marks her out as a genuine course specialist. Some horses simply love a track, and Ascot seems to bring out the best in her.

Her most consistent partner in the saddle has been P J McDonald, who has ridden her in 7 races and won 2 of them — a win rate of roughly 1 in 3, which is a strong return at this level and suggests a real working partnership between horse and jockey.

Recent form tells a positive story too. In her last six races, she has finished sixth, second, third, eighth, third, and first — that win coming at Newcastle as recently as November 2025, just five months ago. She raced again only yesterday, which means she is fit, active, and very much in her prime season right now. The sixth-place finish is the one blot, but three podium finishes either side of it suggest that result was the exception rather than the rule.
