The career arc has been a slow build. A first win came at Newcastle in June 2023, and the most recent arrived at Pontefract just three weeks ago — so Harker's team have clearly found a way to keep this horse competitive and motivated into its sixth year. The yard has sent out four winners this season, and Powerful Response accounts for one of them, which is no small contribution to a relatively compact operation.
