The most striking thing about This Farh is the Lingfield Park record. Two wins from six races there — that is winning 1 in every 3 times it turns up at that track. For context, most horses at this level win roughly 1 in 6 or 7 races on average, so doubling that figure at a specific venue is genuinely meaningful. Lingfield was also where This Farh got off the mark for the first time, back in February 2025, and that early connection with the track seems to have stuck.

The horse also clearly favours normal ground conditions — again winning 2 from 6 on a standard surface, that same 1-in-3 ratio that crops up at Lingfield. Whether it is the surface, the track layout, or simply the combination of both, there is a pattern here that is hard to ignore. Most recently, it won at Beverley just four weeks ago, making it a horse in form right now rather than one coasting on past results. Two wins from its last six races is a sharp run of form by any measure.

D Loughnane's yard at Stoke Heath in Shropshire has been in fine shape this season — 39 winners is a strong tally and suggests a yard operating with real confidence. This Farh fits neatly into that picture. The one slight curiosity is the record with regular jockey Laura Pearson: no wins together from five attempts. That is not necessarily a problem — plenty of horses win with different riders — but it is the kind of stat that makes you wonder whether a change in the saddle might unlock something extra.

Racing at Class 5, one of the more accessible tiers of the sport, This Farh is not competing for the big prizes. But what it does at its level — popping up with wins on the tracks and surfaces it loves, staying active and in form — makes it exactly the sort of horse a racing fan quickly learns to keep an eye on.
