The horse's record at Class 5 level—which is where most of its races happen—is especially bleak: zero wins from 24 attempts. When Starsong does win, it tends to do so at lower levels, and even there the margins are razor-thin. Its first career victory came at Newcastle on 18 October 2022, but the wins have slowed to a crawl since then. Ridden most often by Frederick Larson, Starsong has managed just one win from ten races together, no better than the horse's overall rate.
