That's a genuinely solid record and suggests the horse is well placed by its trainer, Richard Hannon, whose yard at Herridge in Wiltshire has been in exceptional form this season, sending out 118 winners. When a trainer of that output believes in a horse at a particular level, it usually means something.

The first win came at Salisbury in July 2022, and the most recent was at Chelmsford just three months ago in February 2026 — so this isn't a horse running on past glories. It raced as recently as yesterday, which underlines that it remains an active and competitive part of the string. The last six runs read 2-3-2-10-4 and a non-completion, which is a slightly mixed picture — a few near misses, one poor run, and one race where it didn't finish. No win in the last six, but two second places and a third suggest the form hasn't completely deserted it.

One thread worth watching is the partnership with jockey Joe Leavy, who has ridden Signcastle City seven times without finding the winner's enclosure together. That's not necessarily a red flag — horses and riders sometimes just don't click, and seven races is a small enough sample to be inconclusive — but it's a combination that hasn't paid off yet.
