The numbers suggest Scarfo performs best when stepped up to middle distances between seven furlongs and a mile, where he has won once from 12 races — a respectable 8% win rate at those trip. At his typical racing level of Class 6, however, the picture is starker: just one victory from 26 races (4%), which hints that even at this modest grade, he struggles to get his head in front often enough to justify his place in the yard.
