That single win came at Bath on 14 June 2025, and it remains the high point of the career so far. Bath is a quirky, undulating track in Somerset that can catch out horses who don't handle its turns, so winning there is not without merit — but it has been ten months since that day, and the last six races have produced a sequence of 7-4-7-9-5-6, which suggests the form has dipped rather than built on it.

Most of Pianoforte's racing has come at Class 5 level, which is towards the lower end of the British racing pyramid — the kind of races designed for horses searching for their level rather than chasing big prizes. At that grade, the record reads 1 win from 7 races, a win rate of 14%, or roughly 1 in every 7 — actually a more respectable picture than the overall career numbers suggest. The horse is at least competitive at that level, even if wins remain elusive.

The trainer is Julie Camacho, who operates out of Norton in North Yorkshire and has built a yard with genuine momentum — 50 winners already this season is a serious output and marks her as one of the more productive trainers in the north of England. With that kind of firepower behind it, Pianoforte is at least in professional hands, even if the results on the track have been modest. Raced just yesterday, this is a horse very much still active and in search of that second career win.
