What makes Paradias genuinely special is his record at Lingfield Park. Two wins from just 3 races there is extraordinary — most horses race at a track dozens of times without winning at all, and here he is converting at two-thirds. His most recent victory came in a Class 2 race at Lingfield on 21 February 2026, just five weeks ago, which means this is a horse in current form, not one trading on past glories. Class 2 means one of the better races in Britain, so Paradias isn't picking up easy wins in weak fields. He is beating good horses.

His all-weather form over the winter months has been particularly eye-catching. He won at Wolverhampton on Boxing Day 2024, at Kempton in January 2025, and at Lingfield in February 2026 — three Class 2 victories on artificial surfaces across consecutive winters. There is clearly a horse here who knows how to perform when conditions suit, and he particularly thrives over longer distances of a mile and three-quarters to two miles, where he wins 2 from 5 (40%). Get him at the right track, at the right trip, and he is a serious contender.

He is trained by Alan King at Wroughton in Wiltshire, a yard that has sent out 57 winners already this season — so Paradias is part of a genuinely productive operation. His most regular jockey is Rossa Ryan, who has partnered him 13 times and won twice together, a win rate of roughly 1 in 6. That is a solid working relationship built over time. His recent form shows a win followed by a second and a third in his last completed races, suggesting he is as sharp as ever heading into the next chapter of his career.
