She is trained by K R Burke at Coverham in North Yorkshire, and the yard is in the kind of form that makes every horse in it worth watching. Burke's team has sent out 145 winners already this season — a remarkable number that puts them among the busiest and most successful operations in the country. When a trainer is firing at that rate, it means horses are being placed in the right races at the right time, and Miss Yechance is clearly part of a well-oiled machine.
Her recent form tells an interesting story. Reading it from oldest to newest, she opened her account at Redcar in May 2025, then won at Meydan in January. After that the results have been more mixed — a fifth, then a fourth, then a runner-up — but she raced just one day ago, so she is clearly fit and busy, and that second place in her most recent outing suggests she is knocking on the door again. Horses who finish second and fourth are not out of form; they are close to winning. At three years old, with a team behind her who clearly believe in travelling her to big venues, there may well be more to come.
