His last six races show two unplaced efforts, a couple of sixth-place finishes, another blank, and then that February win. He is not firing every week — but he is still firing. He raced 29 days ago and remains in training with Alastair Ralph, a Bridgnorth-based trainer who has sent out 26 winners already this season, suggesting a yard in good nick.
