His last win came at Southwell in November 2025, eight months ago now, and his recent runs — finishing eighth, seventh, and sixth — suggest he is working his way back to form rather than operating at his peak. But Walford's yard has sent out 35 winners this season, so the operation around him is clearly in good health.
