Two wins from four visits to the track means she wins half the time she goes there, which is extraordinary in a sport where even the very best horses rarely manage that kind of consistency at a single venue. Something about the place suits her — the surface, the tight turns, the way the track plays — and the team at James Owen's Newmarket yard will almost certainly have noticed. When a horse finds a track it loves, smart trainers keep going back.

Owen himself is having a serious season. His yard has sent out 210 winners so far this term, which puts him firmly among the busiest and most productive operations in British racing. Having Little Miss India in form right now, when the whole yard is firing, feels like good timing.

She also has a clear preference for normal ground conditions — not too wet, not too fast — and on that surface she wins 3 from 9, or 1 in every 3 races. That's a horse who, given the right conditions, is genuinely difficult to beat. Most of her racing has come at Class 5 level, the bread-and-butter end of the sport, where she's won 1 from 10 — modest on paper, but that's precisely why the recent back-to-back wins stand out. She appears to be improving, or at the very least finding her confidence, and at five years old there's no particular reason to think she's done yet.

Her first career win came at Southwell back in October 2025, and she's added two more since. Three wins might not sound like a lot, but the way they've arrived — clustered together, at a track she clearly adores, during a run of form that shows 1-4-1-2 in her last four starts — suggests a horse building momentum rather than running out of it.
