The real strength appears on normal ground—at standard conditions, the horse has won two of seven races (29%)—suggesting it handles firm or soft going less effectively. The horse's last win came at Wolverhampton on 4 April, now five months in the past, which is a lengthy absence from the winner's circle. Recent form has been mixed: a win one run ago followed by a third place, but before that a couple of runs outside the placings. The yard itself is in good form with 20 winners this season, so support from Martin Dunne's operation is clearly there. With Muscutt back in the saddle and ground conditions favourable, Karakula Dancer could be ready to break back into winning ways, but the five-month gap since the last victory suggests the horse will need a clear opportunity to get back on track.
