Racecourses each have their own quirks — the shape of the bends, the camber of the ground, the way the final straight sits — and certain horses take to particular venues in a way that defies easy explanation. Jannas Journey has clearly found her favourite living room at Ayr, winning 63% of her races there. That is not a fluke; that is a horse who knows where she likes to run.

She is trained by Jim Goldie at Uplawmoor in Lanarkshire, a yard that has sent out 88 winners already this season — so this is not a small operation relying on one good horse. Goldie runs a busy, productive team, and Jannas Journey sits near the top of their roster. Her first career win came at Hamilton Park in July 2025, and she has not stopped winning since, most recently scoring at Carlisle just last week. The recent form reads 4-1-8-4-8-7, which shows some inconsistency, but that victory at Carlisle is the number that matters — she is clearly still in form and still competing.

At Class 6, she wins four races in every seven she enters — a 57% win rate at that level, which is exceptional. She is, in the best possible sense, a horse who knows her level and absolutely dominates it. She raced just yesterday, which tells you everything about how well she is being campaigned right now.
