Hope Rising

Trained by Jamie Snowden at Lambourn, Hope Rising thrives over the longer distances. When stepping up to 1 mile 6 furlongs or beyond, the form transforms completely: four wins from eight races at that trip, a 50% win rate that speaks for itself. In contrast, at shorter distances the horse is ordinary. This matters because it means you know exactly where Hope Rising belongs. Southwell saw the horse's first career victory back in May 2025, and Lingfield Park delivered the most recent win just three weeks ago, confirming the horse remains sharp and capable of winning at the level it competes.

Class 4 racing is where Hope Rising has done most of its work, and here too the record shines: three wins from six races, another 50% return. The partnership with Gavin Sheehan has been less prolific — two wins from nine rides together — but the jockey is rarely in the saddle. Given Hope Rising's current purple patch and its obvious preference for distance and this level of competition, the horse looks genuinely well-placed to keep winning. Snowden's yard has already sent out 82 winners this season, and Hope Rising appears to be one of its live chances heading into the coming weeks.
