The horse shows clear preferences that his the yard understand well. He thrives on wet or muddy ground, winning 3 of his 11 races in those conditions (27%), and even better on normal ground, where he has won 2 of 5 races (40%). Distance suits him too — over the longer trips between 1m6f and 2m, he has won 4 of 14 races (29%), which is nearly double his overall win rate. Wolverhampton is his lucky track, where he has won twice in four attempts. When he steps up to the very top races, though — Class 1 or 2 company — he rarely wins, managing just one victory in 17 attempts. He is at his best in Class 3 races and below.

Jonathan England has ridden him 29 times and won 4 of those races (14%), slightly better than Glory And Honour's average. After the horse won over jumps at Hexham in June, England said he had needed a truly good, fast gallop to bring out his best, and that he was "a joy to ride" — high praise from a jockey. The trainer has noted that Glory And Honour does not quite stay the longest jumps trips despite being asked to try them; his best form over jumps comes at 2m and 2m4f, distances at which he can use his strength without getting tired. He is currently on a freshen-up after a long season, but Spring racing should give him another chance to add to his tally.
