Endowed

There is one obvious angle to Endowed's form: it is a course specialist at Chepstow, where it has won two of its three races there. That is a striking record — two wins from three attempts suggests genuine aptitude for that particular track. Endowed also shows a preference for fast, dry ground, where it has won two of twelve races (roughly one win in every six attempts), compared to its overall win rate of one in eleven. Both of these clues hint at a horse that responds to specific conditions, which could yet unlock another victory if it returns to Chepstow on a fast surface.

The stable of John and Rhys Flint, based near Bridgend, has sent out eight winners this season, so the yard is functioning. Miss Imogen Mathias has been Endowed's regular partner in the saddle, but tellingly has never tasted success aboard it across seven rides. At Class 4 level, where Endowed typically competes, it has managed only one win from twelve races — a 8% win rate — which confirms that this horse is a consistent runner but rarely a winner. At nine years old and fourteen months without a victory, Endowed remains a game competitor but one whose best racing appears to lie in the past.
