Her trainer Paul Midgley describes her with genuine affection as "an absolute sweetheart" and "very honest and genuine," the kind of horse that turns up and tries hard every time. The frustration, he notes, has been that she runs consistently well without quite getting over the line—until recently. On 23 September 2025, she won a top-level Class 2 race at Beverley, her first victory in almost a year. The race was set up perfectly for her: soft ground, a stiff five-furlong course that rewards stamina over early speed (which has sometimes been her weak point), and enough runners to give her a genuine test. The handicapper had actually raised her rating by 5 pounds that very morning, but Midgley ran her anyway and was vindicated. He has been searching for a better-quality race for her ever since, keen to build on what looks like a late career resurgence.

Her recent form tells a story of a horse trying hard but not quite managing it. In her last six runs before that Beverley win, she had placed twice but not won—4th, 3rd, 3rd, 6th, 12th, and 9th—which is consistent without being brilliant. She typically competes at Class 4 level, where she wins about 1 in every 4 races. With David Nolan her most frequent rider (though their partnership has only produced 2 wins from 14 rides together), she remains as active as ever. At Beverley, she is a horse that knows what she is doing, and when the conditions align, she knows how to win.
