El Bodon won there on 17 December 2025 and again on 11 February 2026, barely two months apart. Repeating at the same track and the same level is not a coincidence; it suggests a horse that genuinely suits those conditions and is operating with confidence. At Class 2, El Bodon has won 2 of its 6 races — roughly 1 in 3 — which is a strong return at that tier.

The recent form figures tell a similar story. Reading the last six runs from most recent backwards: a blank, then two wins, a fourth, an eighth, and a second. Strip away the blip and the direction of travel is clearly upward. The horse has not raced in seven weeks, which is a normal enough gap between runs, and at five it is likely still developing as a racehorse.

Behind all of this is trainer Jane Chapple-Hyam, based at Dalham in Suffolk.
