The most recent of those three wins came at Killarney back in July 2024, nearly two years ago now, and Dynamic Force hasn't managed to add to that tally in the six races since. The current run of form — fourth, unplaced, fourth, sixth, seventh, tenth — suggests a horse that is finding its level a little lower than it once did, though it raced just yesterday, so the team clearly still believes there's something to run for.

T.G. McCourt trains the horse out of Stamullen in County Meath, and the yard has been in decent nick this season with 14 winners sent out. The partnership with jockey James Ryan is the most established Dynamic Force has had — ten races together — but they are still waiting for that first win as a combination, which is a stat that stands out given how many chances they've had.

Where Dynamic Force does show genuine promise is over a trip of a mile and one to a mile and two furlongs. In just four races at that distance, the horse has won once — that's a win rate of 25%, or one in every four, which is meaningfully better than its overall record. On normal ground, the numbers also improve: 2 wins from 13 races, or roughly 1 in every 6.5 — nearly double the career average. So conditions matter here. Get the distance and the ground right, and this horse is a different proposition.

Dynamic Force sits comfortably in mid-tier company, most often competing at Class 4 level, where it has won 1 of its 6 races at that grade. Not a star, but not a also-ran either — the kind of horse that makes races competitive and keeps a yard ticking over. The question now is whether, at seven years old and without a win in almost two years, one more good day is still in there.
