Bullington Bry

The recent form makes for mixed reading. That second place is the most interesting data point here — it shows the ability is somewhere in there, even if consistency has been the problem. For a four-year-old, there is still time to develop, but the clock is not standing still either.

Class 6 is where horses come to find a race they can win, and the fact that Bullington Bry has not managed it at that level yet means it has yet to find its moment even in the most accessible company available.

None of this makes Bullington Bry a bad story — racing is full of horses that take time to break their duck, and that recent second place hints that a win might not be a world away. But right now, this is a horse that has done everything except win, and sooner or later that will need to change.
