Jockey Mark Winn has partnered Broadstone six times without a win between them, which mirrors the horse's overall record rather than suggesting anything has gone especially wrong in that partnership specifically. At Class 6 — the lowest tier of British racing, where horses compete because that is simply the level that suits them — Broadstone has still not managed a victory from eight attempts. Winning at this level is as straightforward as it gets in professional racing, so the inability to break through even here underlines just how tough it has been.
