The story really took off in the summer of 2025, when Brielle landed a first career win at Hamilton Park in July. What followed has been a sharp upward curve. In the last six races, Brielle has won three of them — that is a 50% win rate over recent form, which is exceptional by any measure. The sequence reads 1-6-1-15-4-1, meaning three wins broken up by a couple of forgettable afternoons, including a fifteenth place that looks very much like an off day rather than a trend. Crucially, the most recent result — a win at Newmarket just this week — suggests Brielle is right at the top of her game. Newmarket is one of the most prestigious and competitive venues in British racing, so winning there is never routine.

Behind the scenes, this is a David O'Meara operation. O'Meara trains out of Upper Helmsley in North Yorkshire, and his yard has sent out 101 winners already this season — the kind of output that marks a trainer who really knows how to keep horses in form and racing with purpose. When the stable is firing like that, it tends to rub off on every horse in the string.

In the saddle, Daniel Tudhope has been the regular partner, riding Brielle in five of her races and winning two of them — a 40% win rate together, which is a strong partnership by any standard. Tudhope is one of the more respected jockeys in the north of England, and the combination of a well-drilled yard and a trusted pilot is exactly the kind of setup that turns a promising horse into a consistent winner.

Brielle typically lines up in Class 4 company, which sits in the middle tier of British racing. The win at Newmarket this week hints that the yard may start testing her at a higher level before long.
