That win now sits 30 months in the past, however. The horse has not found the winner's enclosure since, drawing blanks across the last six runs. Recent form reads 10-7-4-5-13-9, a sequence that includes a couple of placing finishes but mostly middle-order finishes. With a race just one day ago, Brave Empire remains actively campaigned, though finding a breakthrough after such a long drought will not be easy. The horse appears to be a Class 4 specialist at best — a reliable sort in the right company, but one whose window at the higher levels may have already closed.
