His career started late — trainer Tony Carroll noted he did not even see a racecourse until late October of his first season — but by the third attempt, at Chelmsford in December 2022, he had figured it out over six furlongs and won. His last six runs read 2-1-10-7-4-4 from most recent back, which means after a rough patch in the middle he has come roaring back to form, finishing first and second in consecutive races. Horses in that kind of momentum are dangerous. He typically competes at Class 5 level, the bread-and-butter tier of British racing, and has won 2 of his 14 races there — 1 in 7. Reliable without being flashy, but currently operating at the top of his game. That is exactly the kind of horse you do not want to overlook.
