The two wins came at Beverley in mid-August 2025 and then at Musselburgh just four weeks later, in September. Since that second win 11 months ago, though, Arduis Invicta has been frustratingly silent. In its last six races the horse has not found the winner's circle, with a recent run of 17th, 4th, 2nd, 6th, 6th and 11th. The form is not disastrous — there are placed efforts scattered through it — but the horse has been unable to recapture the touch that brought those two victories. It raced as recently as yesterday, which suggests Craig Lidster's Norton yard remains actively searching for another opening.
Lidster has been a productive trainer this season with 20 winners sent out, so the yard itself is in good form. William Pyle has been Arduis Invicta's main jockey, though the partnership has yielded only one win from six races together, a win rate of roughly 1 in 6. There is enough here to suggest a decent Class 5 performer that may well deliver another win before long — but the current dry spell is a reminder that even horses with strong course records and established the yard can lose form and fall out of the prize money.
