Al Qayed

Al Qayed is a two-year-old horse still finding its feet on the racecourse. The horse has run three times so far and finished in the top 3 on all three occasions — second on its debut and third in both subsequent races — but is still searching for that first win. Haggas has sent out 170 winners already this season from his Newmarket base, so the team clearly knows how to get horses to the line. The horse raced just yesterday, which suggests it is being kept active and ready for its next opportunity. For a young horse with perfect top-3 form but no wins yet, the breakthrough may not be far away.
