The most recent of those Goodwood wins came on 2 August 2025, which means this nine-year-old is still beating the best around just weeks ago.

The partnership with jockey Jim Crowley is one worth highlighting. In 14 races together, Crowley has ridden Al Aasy to 6 of its 7 career wins — a win rate of 43%, or nearly 3 in every 7 rides. That is the kind of number that tells you something is clicking between horse and rider. Crowley clearly understands this horse, and the horse responds.

Haggas's yard at Newmarket is operating at full throttle, having sent out 175 winners this season alone, and Al Aasy remains one of its most reliable big-day horses.
