"It was a brilliant run at Aintree last season when he won the Grade 1 Liverpool Hurdle, and he's tipping away now. He's being aimed at the Long Walk at Ascot or the Christmas Hurdle at Leopardstown. We'll sort of flip-flop him and Bob Olinger as to which one goes where. 11-11-25"

"He's a lovely young horse who made a flying start to his hurdling career with wins at Naas and Cork before Christmas. His latest start in the Grade 3 Mercedes-Benz Novice Hurdle was another fine effort when he was collared late on by stablemate Monty's Star on ground that was softer than ideal for him. I was very happy with that effort and the plan is to go for the Albert Bartlett Novices' Hurdle. 01-03-23"
How do odds work? The first number is what you win, the second is what you bet. So 5/2 means you win £5 for every £2. 4/1 means you win £4 for every £1. The bigger the first number, the less likely bookmakers think the horse will win — but the more you'd win if it does.
