"Jonathan: He ran a strong race when he finished second on the Flat at Newcastle last time and showed he stays 1m4½f. He'll probably return to hurdles at Huntingdon on Thursday. He disappointed on his last hurdles run but he made a bad mistake and may have just jarred himself a bit. Sam: He pulled a shoe off and we struggle with his feet, they're big and take a bit of minding. He's another who does a lot of swimming. 08-02-24"

"He's got loads of ability but is a tricky customer. He reached a pretty high level on the Flat and he's enjoying hurdles. He won in decisive fashion at Perth in July and then didn't run too badly back there last time. He might be best running fresh, though. We might consider chasing and somewhere like Musselburgh, where the fences are a bit smaller, could suit him. 10-09-25"
