Two B Tanned

The secret lies in finding the right conditions and the right trip. Two B Tanned absolutely flourishes on normal ground, where she has won 5 of her 10 races there — a 50% win rate that towers above her overall record. Distance matters too: at the mile-and-a-quarter to mile-and-a-half range, she has won 6 of 12 races, again hitting that half-winning rate. Musselburgh suits her particularly well, where she has won twice from only three runs. Her partnership with jockey Joe Fanning has been crucial to this recent success, though Tom Kiely-Marshall has also found the winner's circle with her, winning twice from six rides.

The challenge now, as Camacho's team sees it, is that success brings higher weights and tougher opponents. Having won so decisively in smaller fields, Two B Tanned will begin to meet the handicapper's raised weights. For now, though, the plan is simple: find races where she can use her high cruising speed to control the race from the front, exactly as she has been doing. At five years old and clearly still improving, she remains a genuine threat in the races she targets.
