That mix of results — the eighth and thirteenth are rough rides — shows this is no superstar, but the two wins in that sequence say the horse is capable of turning up and delivering when conditions suit.

Touch The Moon performs best over distances between seven furlongs and a mile, winning one of three races over that trip (a 33 per cent win rate, which is genuinely respectable). At Class 4 level, where it typically competes, it has won just once from six attempts, suggesting it is right at home in that grade — competitive but not a clear standout. The horse made its winning debut at Carlisle back in September 2023, and has been a steady fixture on the track ever since. With William Durkan's yard sending out 15 winners already this season, Touch The Moon is part of a yard clearly doing well, and its current form — a win within the past week — suggests it may yet add to that tally.
