The one victory came at Warwick on 8th March 2026, and it was recent enough to still feel fresh — just four weeks ago. Warwick is a tight, turning track that tends to suit horses with good balance and a bit of racecraft, and Super Survivor handled it well enough to get the job done. The latest run, just yesterday, produced an eighth-place finish, so the team will be doing their sums and working out what that result tells them.
Behind the horse is trainer Jamie Snowden, based at Lambourn in Berkshire — one of the most famous training villages in British racing, where horses and horseboxes outnumber almost everything else. Snowden's yard has been in fine form this season, sending out 82 winners, which is a serious number and suggests a well-run operation with horses arriving at the track ready to perform. When a horse is trained somewhere that busy and productive, it tends to benefit from the experience and routine that comes with a big, confident string.
Super Survivor is only two races into the story. There is not much history to pick through yet, but what exists is encouraging — a winner on the board, a placed run, and a trainer who clearly knows how to get horses to the races in good shape. Worth keeping an eye on.
