For a horse that wins fewer than 1 in 10 races across the board, that uplift is significant. It tells you something simple and useful: when the forecast is bad, Sonnerie Power is worth watching more closely than usual.

The partnership with jockey Cieren Fallon is harder to explain away. Eight races together and not a single win — 0 from 8 — is a combination that has simply never clicked, despite Fallon being an accomplished rider. It is the kind of stat that makes you wonder whether a change in the saddle might unlock something, or whether the horse just has its own ideas about who it wants aboard.
