Win rate and top-3 rate will show once this horse has raced.
Slattery's yard at Thurles in County Tipperary has enjoyed a productive season, sending out 62 winners so far, which suggests a well-functioning operation with plenty of horses heading to the races in decent shape. What Socrates Smiled might do remains entirely unknown, but she comes from a stable clearly in good working order. The challenge now is finding out whether a four-year-old debuting for the first time has the ability to win races, or whether the delay in reaching the track hints at something more modest in the locker. Only the racecourse will tell.
