Having your base in the same town as a horse's favourite track is no coincidence when it comes to preparation, and the team clearly knows how to get Smart Vision ready for a big day. The horse hasn't won in its last six races, and its recent finishing positions — mostly finishing towards the back — suggest it's in a quieter spell right now. But it raced just yesterday and is very much active. When the ground dries out and the calendar brings it back to Doncaster, it would be unwise to look the other way.
