The one victory came at Southwell back in October 2025, and while six months have passed since then, Rogue Citation has clearly remained in work and active, having raced as recently as yesterday. The most recent sequence of results — a sixth, then a win, then a third — tells an interesting story. This is a horse that can blow hot and cold, but when the conditions suit, it delivers. The Southwell win sits at the heart of that record like a reminder of what's possible.

Behind the horse is the Middleham yard of Edward Bethell, one of the more productive training operations in the north of England right now. Fifty-nine winners in a single season is a serious number — that's not luck, that's a yard firing on all cylinders. For a young horse still finding its feet, being part of a team running that kind of form is a real asset.

At just three years old, Rogue Citation is still early in its career, and three races is a small sample. But finishing in the money every time you run is a foundation worth building on. The next few months should tell us a lot more about what this horse is capable of.
