That one win came at Nottingham on 29 April 2025, and it remains the high point of her career so far. What makes it slightly bittersweet is that it was also 15 months ago — and in the six races since, she has not come close to repeating it. Her recent form reads 5-6-5-8-8-4, which tells a pretty clear story: she is finishing mid-pack at best, and more often than not towards the back of the field. The fourth place in her most recent run is the brightest number in that sequence, which is either a small sign of encouragement or simply the exception that proves the rule, depending on how generous you are feeling.

Most of her races have come in Class 5 company — the lower end of the racing ladder, where horses tend to compete who are still learning the game or have found their ceiling. She has run six times at that level without winning, which suggests that even in races designed to give horses like her a chance, she has not quite been able to convert. Her most regular partner in the saddle has been Charlie Bennett, and together they have won 1 of their 8 races — about 1 in 8, or 12% — which is a better ratio than her overall record, though still a modest one.

She raced just yesterday, so she is clearly an active and well-managed horse whose team keeps finding opportunities for her. That is worth something. Whether there is another day like that in her, only time will tell.
