More intriguingly, the horse is a course specialist at Huntingdon, with 2 wins from just 3 races there. That kind of record suggests the track suits its running style perfectly, and the yard will almost certainly look to run it back whenever the opportunity arises. Normal ground conditions bring out the best in Rewired too: 5 wins from 11 races on standard ground, compared to a much leaner return on faster or softer surfaces.

Luke Scott, the jockey, has ridden Rewired to 4 wins from 10 races together — a 40% win rate that towers above the horse's overall record and suggests genuine understanding between rider and horse.
