The progression has been swift and convincing. Revival Power broke its duck at Thirsk in May 2025, a fairly modest beginning, and within four months had doubled up at York and Doncaster. The recent form figures — reading back from the most recent race, 1, 1, 5, 7, 6, 2, 1 — show a horse that hit a purple patch in late summer and has since shown more mixed form. The last win was at Doncaster in September, now ten months ago, so the yard will be hoping the horse can rediscover that spark.

The man most often in the saddle is David Allan, who has ridden Revival Power in 6 of its 9 races and been there for both of the major wins — 2 victories together from 6 rides gives them a 33% win rate as a partnership, which is a strong record at any level, let alone this one. Trainer Tim Easterby, based at Great Habton in North Yorkshire, has been the guiding hand throughout. His yard has sent out 128 winners already this season, which speaks to an operation that knows exactly how to place a horse and peak it at the right moment. The back-to-back Class 1 victories in August and September suggest Easterby timed Revival Power's season to perfection. Whether the horse can return to that level is now the most interesting question surrounding it.
