Looking at Reputation's last six races, the form has been patchy: a tenth place finish a day ago, then a ninth, a third-place, a win, a second, and a seventh. That solitary victory among those recent six races reflects a horse in the twilight of its career, still capable but increasingly inconsistent. James Sullivan, its most frequent jockey, has ridden Reputation 35 times and won on it just three times — a 9% win rate, almost exactly in line with the horse's career average. Reputation first won at Thirsk in September 2022, more than three and a half years into its racing life, suggesting it took time to find its level and that patience has been rewarded with occasional success ever since.
