The story has unfolded quickly and impressively. A first win at Doncaster in late April 2025 was followed by another at the same track in June, then a Class 2 victory at York in July — one of the top races in Britain outside the very elite tier. Then came the moment that really sets Remmooz apart: a Class 1 win at Newbury in September, the highest level of race in British racing. To get there in just six starts, and to win, puts this horse in very select company for a three-year-old.
The form line from those six races reads 1-1-4-1-3-1, and the single blip — a fourth place — barely registers against what surrounds it. Four wins from six races, at tracks including York and Newbury, competing at the top two levels of the sport. The only question mark heading into a return is the six-month absence. Remmooz has not raced since that Newbury victory in September, and any horse coming back after that kind of break needs to shake off the rust before being judged too harshly.
Behind the horse is trainer Owen Burrows, whose Lambourn yard has sent out 31 winners already this season — a stable clearly in fine form. Burrows is known for handling horses with patience and timing, and the fact that Remmooz has been given a proper break rather than being pushed through the winter suggests the team are thinking long-term. This is a horse being managed carefully, which usually means there are bigger targets on the horizon. Whatever comes next, Remmooz has already shown enough to make it one of the more exciting young horses around.
