Longsdon spotted the potential early. Back in January 2023, he described Realisation as having "a motor under the bonnet" while being careful to manage expectations, noting she was still a physically weak individual who needed time. Three years on, that patience appears to have been well placed. The yard has sent out 33 winners this season alone, and Realisation has been among them.

The most interesting part of the profile is what happens when you look at where and on what ground Realisation performs best. At Sedgefield, a tight, sharp track in County Durham, she has won 2 of just 3 races — a remarkable hit rate that suggests the course suits her almost perfectly. Her last win came there as recently as March 2026, just three months ago. On slightly soft ground, she is equally decisive: 2 wins from 5 races at 40%, which works out at roughly 2 in every 5. That is a meaningful edge — many horses simply do not handle soft conditions well, so a horse that actively thrives on them has a built-in advantage whenever the weather turns.

Her recent form makes encouraging reading too. In her last six races she has recorded two wins and two runner-up finishes — that is four times finishing in the top two from six outings, which is the kind of consistency that keeps a racing yard happy. She raced just yesterday, confirming she is fit, active, and in the thick of her season.

Most of Realisation's races have come at Class 4 level — solid, competitive mid-tier racing — where she has won 3 of 12, or 1 in every 4. Longsdon once suggested she was capable of stepping up in grade, and while she has settled into her level rather than scaling the heights, she is a horse who performs with admirable regularity.
