Princess Coco

Cam Hardie has been her regular partner in the saddle, but he has yet to steer her home in front either across their five rides together. Trainer Simon Whitaker, who operates out of his base in Scarcroft in West Yorkshire, has saddled winners this season from his yard, but Princess Coco remains on the outside looking in. At the Class 5 level — where she has contested all three of her races at that grade — she has managed three attempts without success. For a horse this young and still in active racing, the lack of any winning form so far leaves plenty of questions about whether she will find her mark at some point, or whether she has simply been outpaced in every contest she has encountered.
