Porsche Lad

The most striking thing about Porsche Lad is how completely he belongs to Dundalk. Both of his career wins have come at that track, from 13 races there in total. That is a win rate of around 1 in 6 specifically at Dundalk, which stands out sharply against his form everywhere else. Some horses simply click with a particular circuit — the tight turns, the synthetic surface, the rhythm of it — and Dundalk appears to be exactly that place for this horse. His most recent win came there on 12 November 2025, and his very first career victory was there too, back in March of the same year.

He also has a clear preference for distance. Over a mile and three furlongs to a mile and four furlongs, Porsche Lad has won 2 of his 5 races — 40%, which is a remarkable conversion rate and tells you he is most dangerous when given a proper test of stamina rather than being asked to quicken over shorter trips.

Recent form has been trickier. His last six runs read 2nd, 4th, a blank, then three finishes well down the field, and he has not won in those six outings. A second place is in there, though, which shows he has not lost his competitive edge entirely. Porsche Lad raced just yesterday, so he is firmly in the middle of an active campaign. The form lines point to one conclusion: get him back to Dundalk, over a mile and a half or thereabouts, and he becomes a very different proposition.
